one One twenty-four hour period when sky was filled with His praises,
One day when sin was as blackness as could be,
Jesus came forth to be built-in of a virgin,
Dwelt among men, my example is He!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;
Cached, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely, forever;
One 24-hour interval He's coming: O glorious day!

2 One day they led Him up Calvary'due south mountain,
I day they nailed Him to die on the tree;
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected,
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He! [Refrain]

3 1 mean solar day they left Him alone in the garden,
I solar day He rested, from suffering free;
Angels came downwards o'er His tomb to keep vigil;
Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He! [Refrain]

iv One day the grave could conceal Him no longer,
One day the rock rolled abroad from the door;
Then He arose, over decease He had conquered,
At present is ascended, my Lord ever more! [Refrain]

five One solar day the trumpet will sound for His coming,
Ane twenty-four hours the skies with His glory will shine;

Rv John Wilbur Chapman DD LLD U.s. 1859-1918. Built-in in Richmond, IN, he attended Quaker Day School and Methodist Sunday school. At age 17 he made a public proclamation of his Christian religion and joined the Richmond Presbyterian Church building. He received his seminary caste from Lane Theoloical Seminary, Cincinnati, OH. He was later awarded a Doctorate in Divinity from the Higher of Wooster, and an LL.D. from Heidelberg University. In 1882 he married Irene Steddon. They had a girl. His married woman died in 1886. In 1888 he married Agnes Pruyn Strain, and they had four children. His 2d wife died in 1907. In 1910 he married Mabel Cornelia Moulton.
